Winter in Nepal: the skies are clear, it is usually dry, and there are clear views of the Himalayas. Yes, it is freezing at night, and a warm sleeping bag is needed, but while walking during the day you don’t feel the cold in the brilliant sunshine. Hot soup awaits in the tea house, and can warm you up at the stove.
